By now, of course, you have heard about Obama's commencement speech at Ohio State University where Obama advised graduates to ignore the voices concerned about a rising wave of government tyranny. King George III would have been proud of him. Obama said, "Unfortunately, you've grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that's at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. They'll warn that tyranny is always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices because what they suggest is that our brave, and creative, and unique experiment in self-rule is somehow just a sham with which we can't be trusted."
Well, in truth, it can be trusted ... when it works the way it is supposed to and when we do not have a President and a party who keep trying to subvert the constitution and who treat it as living instead of being a set document as the founders intended.
If you have been paying attention you will note there has also been a huge increase of attacks on Christian institutions who oppose gay marriage. These institutions are continuing to teach only what they have always taught and which, depending on the poll, 50% of Americans still believe but the rhetoric out of the queer left and from the President have led to what can only be described as hatred towards Christians. Our founding fathers never envisioned that either.
The Progressives are not going to be content until we have become a nation of Stepford citizens all marching to the same drum of socialism and perversion.
