A zebra dies and goes to heaven, where he encounters Saint Peter at the pearly gates. He asks Saint Peter to answer a question that's plagued him all his life. "Am I white with black stripes, or black with white stripes?"
St. Peter tells him to go ask God himself, and to report back to him God's
reply. The zebra asks God himself, "Am I white with black stripes or black with
God answers "YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE."
The zebra, still confused, goes back to St Peter and told him what God had
St. Peter replied, "Oh, that's easy! You're white!
The zebra asked how he figured that out by God's seemingly mysterious
St. Peter explained, "If you'd been black. God would have said "YOU
IS WHAT YOU IS!"
