2013 Father's Day Lobster Feast

For many years now we have celebrated Father's Day with a lobster feast in my parents back year. This a continuation of the many lobster feeds held in my grandparents yard when I was growing up.

There have been years when the entire clan was in attendance. This was not one of them. Our numbers were down. Daughter Chris and her family were off at a soccer tournament several hundred miles away. Daughter Amy and her brood could only come for a few minutes as they had other plans. Rebecca was too far away. My brother was away on business and his youngest son has moved to southern B.C. My sister's boys live very long distances from here.

It was a diminished crowd but we soldiered on and ate our way through as many lobster as we could.

Gracey Rabbit

I made a quick trip to the city yesterday to pick up the lobster for today's lobster feast. Of course, no trip up there is complete without seeing my granddaughter Gracey and daughter Rebecca. It was soccer Saturday again.

99 Life Hacks To Make Your Life Easier Part 2

The old joke says that some of us are paid to be good while others of us are good for nothing.

I was reminded of that when I ran across these life hacks: 99 Life Hacks To Make Your Life Easier. Some people are wonderfully inventive and clever. Then there are the rest of us and it is for those of us who are not wonderfully inventive and clever that I repost these.

The first 33 are HERE.
